Mentoring workshops and luncheons will be held on the third Thursday of each month, from noon to 1 PM, in the lobby of the Fairchild Auditorium, except as noted below. Lunch will be served.

Steven Zipperstein, Lorraine Sterritt, and Kelly Beck will give an overview of the new pre-major advising program at Stanford, particularly as it pertains to the sciences. They will discuss the vision of the program and the ways in which it is put into practice. They will also be very interested in recruiting faculty into the advising program for next year's freshmen.
